490 Grade 2 or 2X Alarm System

Grade-2 (or Grade 2X) alarm system complete and installed (with 4 detectors).

The system can have 8 x wireless and 8 x hard-wired detectors or a mixture of both, making it a 16-zone system.  If wireless detectors are preferred to hard-wired detectors add £46 inc. VAT for a wireless receiver.

If a wireless receiver is fitted the system can also be set and unset from the keypad by entering a code, or by wireless key-fobs.  Key fobs are not included in the price.

When connected to a telephone line can send a voice message (via built in Vocom dialler) to a mobile phone for example, or can have remote monitoring at an alarm receiving centre (ARC) with key holder & / or Police response.  In addition the  alarm would signal an alarm condition by sounding an external siren and flashing a strobe light.  The siren must automatically cut out after 15-minutes to comply with regulations.

Where there is no phone line a GSM module can also be added (requires a SIM card). 

A variety of detectors and devices can be fitted to make each system individual and accommodate the needs of the property.  All the detectors shown in the section on the 480 alarm panel are hard-wired detectors and will work with this system as will the detectors shown below (if the system has the wireless receiver fitted).  A lot of homes have pets living in them and we can fit detectors (hard-wired or wireless) that will allow a pet (up to Labrador size) to have free movement around the home if that is what is required.  If the pet is larger than a Labrador we can still design a system to suit that will fit around the requirements of the pet.

We will discuss your requirements and make suggestions to ensure the system we fit will give adequate protection to your family home.  We will not try to up sell a superior system unless we think this basic one is unsuitable.

Annual monitoring & maintenance charges are in addition to the installation price.
